(Fragment from I Will Win 2 - The News)

Inspired by the Statue of Liberty I paint this year the above (concept) self portrait. In I Will Win 2 - The News I already wrote/painted about this work shortly.

With I Will Win 3 - The Statue I would like to paint a statue for al those people who, especially marathonrunners, strive day in and day out to achieve their personal goals in ordinary life.

I stopped the preparation of the old I Will Win 3 - The Body on which I worked for more then one year and in which I invested a few thousand euro's because the quality of I Will Win 3 - The Body didn't meet my expectations/demands. As I am afraid to be slaughtered by art-critics and the public about the quality of The Body.

Now I Will Win 5 - The Body became I Will  Win 5 - The Body which I am intend to show in 2008.

Third time lucky!
